Globalstar Starts a New Service Plan Called The Evolution II Plan

Over the last few years and into 2012 Globalstar has been developing and launching their second generation satellite constellation.  So far Globalstar has successfully launched twelve new satellites since October 2010.  Globalstar plans to launch six more in December 2011.  The final six satellites are planned to be launched in early 2012.  Globalstar customers have seen and will continue to see a considerable improvement in voice and duplex data service as a result of these launches. 

As service levels improve, Globalstar is introducing a new interim price plan called – The Evolution II Plan.  The Evolution II Plan will take effect on January 1, 2012 for all new activations of satellite phones.  This plan will be available until March 31, 2012.

Bundled Voice and Dial Up Data Minutes - Unlimited
Roaming in North America & Caribbean - Unlimited

Enhanced Services:

• Voicemail & SMS - Included
• Express Data - Included
• Activation fee - $50.00
• Network Maintenance Fee - No charge
• One year service agreement required

The Evolution II Plan will replace the low priced $19.99 unlimited plan that expired on December 31, 2011
